These easy, no bake, healthy, delicious energy balls take under 15 minutes to make and are perfect for a quick energy boost.
This recipe comes especially handy during cold winter months, when you need a quick energy boost.
Some food pairings are matches made in heaven, talk about PBJ or grilled cheese and tomato soup. This delicious dessert uses one such perfect pairing – dark chocolate and tangerine. Combining the fresh, zesty tones of the tangerine and the richness of dark chocolate, this dessert is a canvas of different flavors, sweet, a bit salty and tangy. This is followed by a pleasant, fresh feel to the mouth from all those tangerine peels.
The flour used in these energy balls is entirely super-fine almond flour from Bob’s Red Mill. All you require in this recipe is to mix up all the ingredients, make small round balls and refrigerate for about half an hour. That’s it, simple and easy!
The mixture may be a bit sticky, rub oil on your hands before rolling them to balls. This will prevent the mixture from sticking on your hands. The texture of these balls is similar to chewy, cookie dough.
For this recipe, I used paleo dark chocolate chips. You can get these healthy refined sugar free chocolate chips here.
